Crafting Perfection:
Dunedin’s Brew Scene
We may not have invented micro-brewing, but we’ve certainly perfected the craft.
Dunedin’s brewery scene is as bold and flavorful as the beers themselves. What began as a single taproom with a big dream quickly fermented into a full-blown craft culture. It all started in the 1990s when Dunedin Brewery, Florida’s oldest microbrewery, opened its doors right here in our charming downtown. Their passion for handcrafted beer and community vibes set the tone for what would become a brewing renaissance.
Today, Dunedin is home to eight unique breweries and one award-winning distillery. Each has its own style and story—from quirky tropical sours to old-world ales, experimental lagers, and smooth small-batch spirits. Whether you’re into crisp IPAs, dark stouts, or craft cocktails, there’s a tap waiting for you.
And the best part? You won’t get lost in Dunedin unless you want to. Meander through murals and music, pausing for pints along the way. The Dunedin Ale Trail connects the dots, guiding both locals and visitors through a sip-worthy adventure full of local flavor, creative energy, and plenty of friendly faces.
